Scraps to Treasures Bookmark Swap - Day 1

Welcome tothe Scraps To Treasures teams September Bookmark Swap hop. If you arrived here from Tahi's blog you are in the right place. If you just happened to “open the book” to my chapter  please start at Chapter 1 which is Jessi's blog.

This month our group of frugally fantastic crafters have made bookmarks for each other. We are excited to share this fun idea will all of our readers. If you want to try this and do not have a large group of friends to do a swap like this, you can do it with just 2 or 3 people.

Our wonderful sponsor for this hop is My Creative Time!

One lucky person will win this "Honey Do List" Stamp set:

Be sure to comment on EACH blog for BOTH days to be entered into the drawing!

Also be sure to follow any instructions on each blog for any fun goodies they may be givingaway!

Here are the bookmarks I made to share with my friends:

I used scraps of cardstock cut at 2 x 7 inches, then I cut patterned paper 1 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches and adhered to the cardstock base.  I used my scallop punch and added the "flower" at the top.  I printed "You Stopped Reading Here" on my computer and used a circle punch to cut them out.

Thanks so much for skimming through our “book”.  Be sure to check back tomorrow for another "book" of great bookmarks that will be shared with you.

  1. Love the bookmarks - love to see all the different color combinations with the scraps!

  2. What an interesting idea for a blog hop. I love your saying and it is very appropriate. I will follow your blog and enjoy your ideas.

  3. I think my library is going to appreciate the "you stopped reading here" instead of a folded corner. Sshhh don't tell them it's me! Cute bookmarks

  4. These are great - so colourful and love the wording. TFS

  5. Super-cute bookmarks, Robin! I like how colorful they are.

  7. Super cute! I love all the papers you used and how the scalloped circles coordinate perfectly with them. The stripes and tie dye are my faves!

  8. Really cute! love all the patterns and shapes

  9. Robin, I love your bookmarks they are so adorable.

  10. I really like your bookmarks. They are so bright and colorful. They must only be used when reading a cheery, happy book. Just teasing but I do have to say my daughter would love one for her books. Sorry for being the late hopper.
