Flowers, Flowers Everywhere Blog Hop -- Day 2

Welcome to day 2 of the Flowers, Flowers Everywhere Blog Hop.  I hope you enjoyed all the projects from yesterday and I'm sure you will enjoy the projects that the ladies have come up with for today.

Our Hostess for this hop is Lissa Marie and her site is the place to start if you've happened upon this hop by accident and want to see more pretty flowers. Otherwise if you arrived here from Jearise's blog continue on and enjoy all the color and beauty of flowers everywhere.

I decided that I wanted to incorporate flowers into another home decor project.  This time I made some pomanders.  I found some different sized glasses at the local thrift store.  Then using the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge I cut out 1 inch flowers and pinned them to styrofoam balls with pearl tipped pins.  This is what I came up with:

Here is a close up showing the flowers that I cut and I did double them for a more full look.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Now continue on to Cicily's blog to see what she came up with.

In case you get lost along the way, here is the entire Blog Hop line up:

  2. Yes, very unique I must say. I have never seen anything like it. Those are beautiful! Thank you for being a part of the hop this month, and for the months ahead I am looking forward to hopping with you and being a part of the team, this has been great!

  3. VERY pretty, Robin. I made one of these last year sometime, and cut a little wedge out of the back of the styrofoam ball, where I put a sachet, and covered it up with flowers again. That way, it smelled as nice as it looked. I still have it sitting on my mantel in the living room, though I do admit it no longer smells luscious AND it's dusty. Time for a re-vamp!! Thank you for hopping with me today!

  5. I like both your projects from day 1 and 2 but I am really drawn towards day 1. I love the idea of the branches with the flowers on them. You could use this idea for so many other things. I was thinking flowers on twigs in a Christmas tree? Thanks for sharing your great ideas.
