Let's Talk Turkey Blog Hop - Day 1

Hello, and WELCOME to the the "Let's TALK TURKEY" Blog Hop!! We're so excited that you could join us for this WONDERFUL two-day hop!! Please be sure to visit BOTH days for maximum ideas, maximum FUN, and maximum chances to WIN!! Our hostess, Amy  has some SUPER prizes for a few hoppers, so be sure to check out all of those details on her blog!!

If you have hopped here from Sher, then you have arrived at the perfect spot in the Turkey Coop!! If you are just popping in to visit, please take a trip back to Amy's Blog (http://www.lovetocrop.com) to start at the beginning -- we've got a bunch of Gobble-Gobble-Goodness, you won't want to miss out on any of the FUN!!

For my project I have created.....  A cute little candy nuget wrapper!
I created this by covering a Hershey nugget candy with a strip of brown paper.  The tail is made using 3 scallop circles trimmed flat on the bottom so it sits correctly.  The face is a punched circle, with a triangle for a beak and free hand cut the warbler.  The had it made with a black square and black strip a little longer than the square.  I then took a strip of white paper and made the "buckle" with black and white squares.  I just drew the eyes on the face.

Now for the fun part -- the BLOG CANDY!  You can win the following paper pack with 10 patterned papers (2 of 5 designs,  a 3-D embellishment sheet,  an Alpha cardstock Sticker sheet and a Cardstock sticker sheet.  To be eligible to win the BLOG CANDY you need to be a follower of my blog and leave a comment BOTH days of the hop (I'll have another post for tomorrow with a new project).

Thank you again for visiting, for the next stop in the Turkey Coop, please hop to Melissa.  I have the entire blog hop line up below in case you get lost along the way.
