Spring Has Sprung Birthday Blog Hop

The grass is getting greener, the trees are budding, and the flowers are blooming! All signs that Spring has Sprung!

My project is this Spring Birthday card for a friend of mine:

I used one of my favorite color combos: pink, green and brown.

Altered Item - Spring Project

This week's project over at Queen of My Craftroom Design Team is to take an item and alter it for Spring.  Be sure to link your project using Mr. Linky on Michelle's blog.

I started with this:


I took out the flowers, painted the pot white, added ribbons around the rim, painted wooden skewers to use as the stems.  I glimmer misted the flowers and added brads for the centers and attached them to the skewers using glue dots.  Here is my finished project:

Our Favorite Things Blog Candy Extravaganza Blog Hop
