Welcome to
the My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’ Design team April Showers Bring May Flowers blog hop.
You should have come from Jearise's blog.
Our theme for this month's hop is April Showers bring May Flowers and we were asked to incorporate ribbon and twine from the My Life in Arts N Craft Store.
Today I made this card for a friend….
I used papers from my scrap bin and the CAPPUCCINO Bakers Twine from Jessi's Etsy store
Jessi is giving away your choice of three bundles of twine so head on over to the shop and pick your favorites. Leave them in the comments at My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’ along with a way to contact you.
Make sure
to follow the teams Blogs and head on over to the My Life in Arts’ n Crafts’
Facebook page.
Thank you for hopping thru with us today!!!
Here is your May laugh to help you get on your way.
If April
showers bring May flowers, then what do May flowers bring?

I used some of the twine that is available in Jessi's Etsy Shop, she has tons of great stuff.
For my project I made a banner for my daughter's room. She is a teenager so she can be a little bit:
Yes, she actually asked me to make her the banner! I used CTMH Avonle papers and Cappucino bakers twine from Jessi's Etsy Shop.
Be sure to check out the other DT projects on Jessi's blog.
Happy Scrapping

For this hop I decided that I needed to have some flowers in the house so I made some flower magnets. These were so quick and easy that it wouldn't take much to have an entire refrigerator full of them. The orange flower is made by punching out (or using a die cutting machine) 3 different sized flowers, crinkling them a bit then stackkng them together. Add a button in the middle and there you go. The other flower is a simple rose that I cut using the Art Philosophy cartridge and then rolling it. Add magnets on the back and you have an instant "flower bed"!
