Red, White & Blue Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our Red, White, & Blue Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Jamie's blog you are in the right place.  If you just happened to drop in, please start with our Awesome Hostess Nicolette.

Today I decided that I needed something to go along with my table decor from yesterday so I made this banner:

I used my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the letters and the circle they are on.  I outlined the letters with glitter.  (can't have a 4th of July celebration without a little glitter!!)  I random stamped a white star onto the blue paper before cutting into strips and accordian folding for the bases.

Thanks for hopping along with us and I hope your 4th is filled with fun, family and friends!

Now you are off to Jackie's blog for more inspiration!

Here is the entire hop line up in case you get lost along the way:

Red,White & Blue blog hop -- Day 1

Welcome to the Red, White & Blue blog hop!  We hope our projects give you inspiration for your  Fourth of July celebration.  If you arrived her from Jamie's blog you are in the right place.  If you just happened to stop in please start at the beginning with our fabulous host Nicolette.

For my day one project I made some table decor.  You can't have a party without some of this!  I created a placemat using my CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge to cut the letters and the circles.    I also used the cartridge to cut the stars for the napkin rings and the "firework" centerpiece.

I added a little glitter to the stars on the napkin rings and a little bling on the stars for the centerpiece.  The centerpiece was actually made using paper towel and toilet paper tubes.

I hope you enjoyed my fun little projects.  Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what else I have in store for you!

Now you are off to Jackie's blog.

Scraps To Treasures Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to DAY 2 of our Scraps to Treasures Blog Hop!

I think it was sort of fun to dig through my scraps and find "just the right pieces" for my project.

Today I made this wall hanging for my grand daughter's room.  I started with a piece of cardboard that was left over from a previous project.  I added my scraps to come up with this little gem.  The inspiration came from a post I saw on Pinterest.

The scraps are from Echo Park, Close To My Heart, Studio G and The Paper Studio.

Now for some BLOG CANDY for two lucky hoppers:

We have two awesome sponsors for this hop:

1. Cori over at Ginger Snap Scraps is giving away a $10 gift certificate to their store.

Scraps to Treasures Blog Hop -- Day 1

Welcome to DAY 1 of our two day Scraps to Treasures Blog Hop!

We all have so many scraps laying around and we never seem to use them up.  So, we thought it would be a great idea to give you some inspiration to pull out your scraps and do a little creating with them.

I had so many different ideas floating around in my head that I just didn't know quite where to start.  Well, I figured we could all use some more cards so I created three.

Here is each one a little closer up:

I used my scraps from the Dotty for You paper pack from Close To My Heart.  I had small scraps of ribbons that I used and I had extra die cuts from a different project I did.

I hope these inspire you to pull out your scraps and create!

Schools Out For Summer Blog Hop -- Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of our Schools Out For Summer blog hop.  I hope you enjoyed all the projects from yesterday.

If you arrived here from Liz's blog  you are in the right place.  If you just dropped in and want to start from the beginning, please start at Katina's blog.

Today I decided to make a layout of the grandkids doing one of their favorite summertime things--to bounce on the trampoline!

I used Close To My Heart - Dotty For You paper to create this layout.  I "popped" up the 'U' in the word FUN to make it mimic the jumping that the kids are doing.

Thanks for hopping along with us in this fun hop, now you are off to Jearise's blog to see what she created.

School's Out For Summer Blog Hop -- Day 1

Welcome to the School's Out For Summer blog hop.  If you arrived her from Liz's blog you are in the right place.  If not, please start from the beginning with our awesome hostess Katina

Since the school year is done (or almost done) we decided to show you what that means to us.  This is day one of our TWO DAY hop so be sure to come back tomorrow to see what we have to share.

For this hop I made little Graduation Cap Goodie Boxes.

Be sure to fill them with some goodies:

I used half of a toilet paper tube for the bottom and then wrapped it in black paper, leaving about 1/2 inch overlap on the bottom.  Cut the overlap into strips so when you fold it over to create a base to glue your circle base onto.  Then I took a piece of paper and rolled it smaller than the bottom (so it fits inside) and used 1/2 inch to cut the strips and create the base to glue on the cap top.  The top of the cap is a 2 1/2 inch square.   I used bakers twine to create a tassle and adhered it with a brad.

I hope you enjoyed this little project that is fun and easy to make.  Now you are off to Jearise's blog.  See you tomorrow for Day 2!!!

Happy Scrapping
