Sew - A needle pulling thread; unless of course you're a crafter. That's when sewing becomes more than a needle pulling thread. It becomes whatever your mind can conceive and to show this, we have a great bunch of ladies with projects that show their INDIVIDUAL take on what "Anything Stitched" means.
I hope you will hop along with us today to see what these carfters have stitched up to show off. If you arrived here from Ashley's blog, you are in the right place. If you just dropped by, please start with our FABULOUS hostess, Jearise in Lorby's World . She has a wonderful little gift for one lucky winner and all you have to do is hop through and leave a note on her blog and become a follower if you're not one already.
For my project today I made this simple card using faux stitiching.
Thank you SEW much for hopping by today and please continue on to Lisa's blog.
Here is the entire line up in case you get lost along the way:

Home Decor & More Blog Hop -- Day 2
Welcome to the Home Decor & More blog hop. This is a 2 day event, so be sure to check out yesterday's posts for even more projects!
Our host is Cicily the Pink Dalmatian Scrapbooker. If you came from Lissa Maries's blog then you're in the right spot. If you want to start from the beginning than head on over to Cicily's blog (our Awesome hostess) and hop your way thru some amazing home decor.
The Pink Dalmatian is giving away blog candy, you can see all the details on her post. Some of the other hoppers may be giving away candy to so be sure & check them out.
We all have drawers, closets & possibly rooms full of scrapbooking supplies. Those beautiful, colorful supplies don't have to be limited to our pages. We hope to inspire you to use your supplies in Home Decor projects that add that special touch to our homes.
For today's project I made a "Flower Ball". I got the inspiration and pattern from the Michael's website.
This is made by creating 12 flowers and glueing them together. Each flower starts out with 5 squares that are folded and glued to create a flower. I then glued a gem in the center of each flower. You put 6 flowers together to make one half of the ball. When you have both halves you string your ribbons through the center and glue both halves together.
Thanks for stopping by to see my home decor item today.
We love comments & you should too, they get you entries into the blog candy giveaways! Now head on over to Melissa's blog to see what she created.
In case you get lost along the way, here is the entire line up:

Home Decor and More Blog Hop - Day 1
Welcome to the Home Decor & More blog hop. This is a 2 day event, so be sure and join us both days for even more projects! Our host is Cicily the Pink Dalmatian Scrapbooker. I decided to make something for my daughter's room so I made this faux Chandelier for her in the colors that we used in her room.
I punched circles from the papers and attached them (back to back) sandwiched around fishing line that I tied to a hand made frame. If I did this again I would purchase a premade frame or use metal rings instead of using wire.
Thanks for stopping & looking at my Home Decor project, be sure & stop again tomorrow for my second Decor item.
We love comments & you should too, they get you entries into the blog candy giveaways! Now head on over to Melissa's blog to see her awesome creation.

Christmas in July - Card Blog Hop
Welcome to the Christmas in July Card Blog hop. If you arrived here from Pam's blog you are in the right spot. If you just stopped by, please be sure to start with our Awesome Hostess Ashley who has blog candy to give away. Be sure to follow the directions she has posted on how to win.
I'm always waiting until the last minute to make my Christmas cards, but this year I'm getting a jump start on them.
I used a white card base 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. The red piece is 5 1/4 x 4 inches. The striped paper is cut 5 x 3 3/4 inches. The oval can be cut out of the center of your patterned paper or you can cut it separately. The tree is made by cutting squares 3 x 3, 2 1/2 x 2 1/2, 2 x 2 and 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches. With the pattern you want to show facing down, fold each square in half, open up and fold in half the opposite direction. Open up and fold diagonally then open and fold diagonally the other direction. Then you want to have the pattern you want to show facing you, fold in the two middle sections on opposite sides to create a triangle. Then I used glitter on the triangles. I lay my triangles on the card to see where I want it and then start with the top triangle, using glue dots to adhere them. Then the next triangle goes slightly inside the top one and so on down the line. I used a star shaped button.
Now you are off to see what inspiration Miranda has for you.
