For my project this month I wanted to share one of my favorite layouts.  It is my grand daughter's first birthday.

I used a lot of papers from my scrap bin, including the base which I pieced together with the different papers.

Scraps to Treasures - Anything Goes Blog Hop

Welcome to the Scraps to Treasures - Anything Goes Blog Hop!!

For our hop this month the projects can be anything your little hearts desire as long as you use your scraps.  I love this creative freedom to explore other options than just cards or layouts.  I can't wait to share the inspiration of all the great artists on the Scraps to Treasures Team! 

For my project I did end up making a card with my scraps.  Here it is:

 

I also used the Artiste cartridge to cut the card and the emblem that I stamped with "Thanks".  Added a little burlap ribbon and a couple of brads and this is what I got.  Love using up those scraps!!!

Krazy Crafting Crew's Birthday Blog Hop

For our craft this month, we were to make an item to reflect a Birthday or Celebration.  I chose to make this birthday banner which I also used my scraps for!  Two-for-one idea!

This was such a fun and easy banner to create.  I will post later the instructions for making one for yourself.

I pulled the papers from my scrap bin and I used twine from Jessi's shop, foam letters that I outlined with a black marker and of course  a Tinkerbell sticker.
